How to prepare app updates for automatic push to consumers
Nokia Store now pushes notifications about app updates to consumers, so that they can get the latest versions of your apps. To ensure that your app updates are pushed to consumers, you must follow these rules:
- In your app package:
- do change the app version
- do not change the app identifier (Symbian UID, Java MIDlet Vendor/Name, WRT Widget Id, etc.)
- In Nokia Publish:
- do update the existing content file
- do not add a new content file
